Evening meeting Thursday 22nd June 2023, open to anyone who cannot attend the monthly day time coffee mornings, either through work commitments or for other reasons.
Come along and see what we are all about, meet new friends over tea/coffee and biscuits, enjoy a chinwag. There is a £3.00 charge for refreshments, and membership for the year is £10.00 per person should you wish to join us, and £12.00 per couple, (i.e. husband and partner or wife and partner), all new members will be warmly welcomed. At the moment the Open Evenings are every 3 months, If they are well supported, they will be on a more frequent basis. We very much look forward to meeting all that can come along.
What happened on the Open Evening:
It was great to see some old & new faces come along to our open evening for a cuppa & chat. We had old maps of the area on display for visitors to see & a collection of our archived photos in folders, including photos from Great Wyrley High School for anyone to look through. There is a lot of local knowledge within the committee and with our members. It’s a great meeting up and sharing stories and find out information of what’s going on in the area & what’s happened in the past.
